Restorative dentistry

As the name suggests, the main goal of restorative dentistry is to save teeth affected by caries or trauma. In the case of lighter damage that does not affect the nervous system of the tooth, these defects can be solved with fillings. The type of filling - aesthetic white (composite) or amalgam - is determined individually based on the evaluation of all specifics and also according to the wishes of the patient.

If there is major damage affecting the nervous system of the tooth, root canal treatment (endodontics) is needed where the affected nerve is located.

All procedures are performed painlessly and gently under local anesthesia, with regard to an individual approach to each patient.

Each tooth is specific and the degree of disease determines the kind of treatment. Sometimes there are more possibilities and in consultation with your doctor you can choose the type of treatment (amalgam or aesthetic white fillings). In the case of more severe damage, root canal treatment (endodontics) is often necessary.
